The Day Before gameplay prevue shows 10 transactions of living dead shooting and farmhouse looting
We first got a glimpse at The Day Before when its announcement trailer appeared back down in January. The "open-world MMO survival" game looks equal it's part DayZ, a smidgin The Last of USA, and a bit of The Division thrown in for good measure: explore, scavenge, shoot zombies, and battle other players for resources in cities in the post-Book of Revelation.
Today you can see a act much of The Day Before. IGN has an privileged new laggard showing around 10 minutes of gameplay, which you can watch supra, and instead of the city we saw in the announcement trailer, this time we'rhenium off to the countryside.
The trailer begins with a radio broadcast wailing the destroyed opportunities of the pre-apocalyptic international (with gunshots and snarling heard in the background) before we adopt two players in vehicles slowly splashing on a riverside and driving through a gorge, which shows off close to pretty nice look mud and water effects. Eventually the players investigate a gas station, and some zombie-shot and supply-looting follows. And then there's some more driving to an isolated farmhouse.
Things vex a little dicier when one musician tries and fails to guess the farmhouse's alarm cypher (I don't screw why, since they'ray already inside the house) and the blaring temptress attracts the attention of more zombies, followed by what appears to exist enemy players World Health Organization get in in a police car. The 2 players we've been following escape into some screen out of fallout bunker as the trailer ends.
I fanny't say I'm super excited past what I've seen of The Day Before—it in truth just looks like a mash-up of other games I've played before. I am still interested, though, because I like those else games, and the idea of skulking finished the post-apocalypse, assemblage supplies, shooting zombies, and encountering some other players continues to hold some appeal.
The Clarence Day Before is being developed by Fntastic, the team tail end open world survival game The Wild Eight. No release date has been set, though it's "coming soon" to Steam. We as wel don't yet make love how many players the MMO will keep, how heroic the world is, how persistence works, operating theatre really much of anything else. Hopefully we'll learn more soon.
